The students from 2AHS learned in their English lesson about British Christmas traditions. They had the opportunity to taste candy canes and they were even allowed to try a typical British tradition: Christmas Crackers.
English Christmas crackers are very popular in the UK. Crackers are traditionally pulled during Christmas dinner or at Christmas parties. The person who ends up with the longer part of the cracker earns the content. Depending on the size of the Christmas crackers, the cracker usually contains a paper crown, jokes and a small game or gift.
